Shred recently developed a helmet innovation that far exceeds current safety standards. The team felt it was crucial to incorporate our latest technology, not in some future line, but into this year’s helmet collection. We wanted to say: “We produce the safest possible product today.” With all the talk in the media about dangerous concussions in sports, from the NFL (American Football), NHL Hockey, Rugby, and of course the equally dangerous FIS Alpine World Cup, we made this drastic decision, even though production was already underway. We believe (and hope you will agree) that better safety is not only meant for the pros, but for the general public as well.
